September Club Cards

This past Saturday was my monthly stamp club meeting. It is hard to believe but we are almost done this years stamp club, only one more meeting left. I really think we need to start another club going in January, I am going to be going though withdrawals. This month we learned the faux silk technique. It is really hard to tell in the picture, but we stamped on tissue paper and then crumpled it to get some wrinkle lines in it and then glued it down on a piece of white cardstock leaving some wrinkles in it. I really like how it turned out.

Supplies Used:
(All Stampin' Up! unless otherwise noted)
Stamps: Priceless
Ink: Taken with Teal, Elegant Eggplant
Cardstock: Taken with Teal, Elegant Eggplant, Whisper White
Accessories: Eggplant Grosgrain Ribbon, Tissue Paper, Stampin' Dimensionals

The second card we did was with the new stamp set Pocket Silihouettes which was on sale this month. And we learned a new way to make a knot. I love how this knot looks, but I have found it is one of those things, that sometimes it comes out just the way you want it the first time, and sometimes it seems to take forever for you to get it the way you want it.
