Shadowed Cherries

This is the second card we did at the shadowing class this past weekend. I love the stamp set Tart & Tangy and used it tons when I first got it, but lately it has been neglected. It was great to pull it out again. We stamped the cherry image first in the co-ordinating ink as the cardstock, (for example we stamped the cherries in Kiwi Kiss ink on the Kiwi Kiss cardstock), and then we stamped the cherry image again with White craft ink just a little off of the first stamped image so that the image looks like it has a shadow.

Shadowing Class

It's been a week since I last posted, but that doesn't mean I haven't been stamping. I actually have got alot of stamping done this past week. However, I can't post any of the cards yet, because they are for my new catalogue open house and upcoming classes.

This past saturday I held a class on shadowing. We made three cards. This first one is so simple. You just stamp the image and then again off to the side of the first stamped image without re-inking stamp and you get a lighter image which looks like a shadow. I have to say I am going to miss Baja Breeze so much. I really got attached to this colour this year.

Supplies Used:
(All Stampin' Up!)
Stamp Sets: Pocket Silhouettes, Sweet Little Sentiments

Thank You June

I try to always include thank you cards for my customers with every order they place. This month this the card I made. It was very simple and uses up some of my designer series paper. I am sad that I can't demo this paper anymore at the end of the month. I just love it and currently have three open packages. Guess I got some scrapbooking to do to use up some of this paper.

All Ocassion SAS Card 4

This is the fourth and final card we made at the Stamp-A-Stack last weekend. I actually made this card almost a year ago for my parents 37th wedding anniversary. It was the last card I ever gave to my dad and it seemed so suitable to be making it again at a fundraiser for the Canadian Cancer Society. My dad passed away from cancer and he is the reason that I decided to do the fundraiser in the first place. I have loved this stamp set Upsy Daisy since it came out and it just seems so perfect for either males or females.

(All Stampin' Up!)
Stamp Sets: Upsy Daisy, Hugs & Wishes
Ink: Basic Gray
Cardstock: Whisper White, Basic Gray, Basic Black
Accessories: Scallop Edge Punch, Mellow Moss Taffeta Ribbon, Stampin' Dimensionals, Stamp-A-Ma-Jig, Glue Dots

Stamp Sets: Lovely As A Tree, Sincere Salutations
Ink: Mellow Moss, Always Artichoke, Always Artichoke Marker
Cardstock: Mellow Moss, Always Artichoke, Very Vanilla

This is another card we made at the All Ocassions Stamp-A-Stack recently. Of course I had to use the set Fifth Avenue Floral. I know I have said this lots but I just love this set. It is so simple to use and always produces a great card. This card would be great for a wedding, bridal shower, or engagement.

Fundraiser for Canadian Cancer Society

This past Saturday I held a All Ocassions Card Stamp-A-Stack as a fundraiser for the Canadian Cancer Society. Stampin' Up! graciously donated a bunch of items to help this event become a success. I took the items that Stampin' Up! donated and did a silent auction. For a first time event I am fairly happy with how it went, I was able to raise $240.82. For the Stamp-A-Stack portion each person made 3 cards each of 3 designs for a total of 12 cards. I also had a table set up with all my saying stamps, so that each person could choose their sayings and make each card different if they wished. I feel this event went really well for being the first time and I definately plan on doing another one again.

This is one of the cards we made.

I just found this picture of this card on my camera, it was a thank you card I made for some of my customers. I can't remember what month I used this card, but it had to be sometime between January and June because of the designer series paper. I can't believe I never shared this card before now. I just love the simplicity of this card.
