Wild About You Class 5

I think this fifth card is my favourite of all the Wild About You cards I made at the class. It was a tough decision though. But I love these little penguins. They are just so cute! The card uses the spiral punch to make the film strip look, I just love this and it is so easy. However it does create a mess, after the class there was so many little punched pieces on the floor from doing all this card.

Supplies Used:
(All Stampin' Up!)
Stamp Sets: Wild About You
Ink: Black StazOn, Baja Breeze
Cardstock: Baja Breeze, Basic Black, Whisper White
Accessories: Spiral Punch, 1/3" Square Punch, Stamp-a-ma-jig, Stampin' Dimensionals

This is a picture of the topper we made for the gift bag, basically we just used the same images and colours on the cards to create this topper.

Wild About You Class 4

For this fourth card I got the layout from a birthday card I made for my best friend Christine a few years ago, I just changed the colours. I love this layout. The stripped paper is from Washington Apple Designer Series paper pack. I have a thing for stripped paper, any pack of designer series paper that has stripped paper in it, I most likely have it or had it at one point. I sponged the edges of the strip of So Saffron paper with Riding Hood Red ink so that it would stand out a bit from the stripped paper.

Supplies Used:
(All Stampin' Up!)
Stamp Sets: Wild About You, All Holidays
Ink: Riding Hood Red Ink
Cardstock: So Saffron, Riding Hood Red, Bashful Blue, Whisper White, Washington Apple DS
Accessories: Ticket Corner Punch, Bashful Blue Brads, Stampin' Dimensionals

Wild About You Class 3

(All Stampin' Up!)

Ink: Apricot Appeal, Chocolate Chip
Cardstock: Chocolate Chip, Apricot Appeal, Whisper White

Wild About You Class 1

This past weekend I held a class based around the stamp set 'Wild About You'. I love this set, it is so versitile. I first bought it to make cards for my nephews but I have used it so much more for adult birthday cards. At the class we made five cards and a topper for a gift bag. It was so much fun. Over the next few days I will share the five cards that we made at the class.

This first one was made with the crocodile stamp. This card would be great for any little boys. You can't tell from the picture but I stamped a little greating just instead the bottom corner of the card and when the card is flat you can see it through the scallop circle bite.

Stamp Sets: Wild About You, See You Around Wheel, Really Retro
Cardstock: Old Olive, Tangerine Tango, Basic Gray, Whisper White, Urban Oasis DS

Page 55 Case

At the beginning of this month I did a class about casing. This class was based on how easily you can take any of the samples from the Idea Book & Catalogue and re-create them to make them your own, by just changing up the colours or the stamp sets. Over the next few days I will share the cards we made. This first card was from page 55, I just changed the stamp set and the cardstock.

Love Mom

I am so sorry it has been almost three weeks since I posted. Things have been crazy busy for me and over the last few days I have been fighting the flu. However I do have cards to show you. This is my favourite set right now.

Stamp Sets: Fifth Avenue Floral, All Holidays

What a week!

Have you ever had one of those weeks? At the beginning of the week you have your whole week planned out and somewhere along the lines that plan just doesn't happen, other items seem to keep coming up. That has been my week this week. I had a to do list for each day of what I wanted to get done but here it is Friday and I can't say I got much of my list done.
Today my mom offically retires and we are having a retirement party for her tonight. This is the card I made for her:

Supplies Used:
(All Stampin' Up!)
Stamps: Uspy Daisy, Congrats
Ink: White Craft
Cardstock: Riding Hood Red, Basic Gray, Whisper White
Accessories: White Embossing Powder, Mat Pack
