This past Saturday was my monthly card club meeting. We made one card using the chalkboard technique and the other one featured one of the Sale-A-Bration sets. I only just learned of the chalkboard the week before and I just loved the look of it. I knew right away that I wanted to use this technique at the club meeting. But I was having problems trying to incorporate it into a card for the club meeting. I asked my BFF Christine for help and she came up with a card I just loved. Our current favourite set is Priceless and one of our all time favs is Wonderful Words. So of course I used the card she designed. Here is it:
Supplies Used:
(All Stampin' Up!)
Stamps: Priceless, Wonderful Words
Ink: White Craft, Bravo Burgundy
Cardstock: Bravo Burgundy, Apricot Appeal, Mellow Moss
Accessories: Stampin' Pastels, Sponge Daubers, Moss Grosgrain Ribbon
The second card we did featured the set Sale-A-Bration set Friendship Blooms and the Rhinestone Brads. This was the first time I used these brads, I have always been a fan of brads. I love that they are so easy to set and they just look great on almost any project. I don't know why I have never tried the Rhinestone brads before, they just add a little more sparkle to the card than a regular brad would. I gotta get me some more of these. Don`t be surprised if you start to see Rhinestone brads on majority of the cards I do from now on. This card was cased from
