Treats for Co-workers

I previously showed you the treat cards that I made for our nephews at Christmas. I also made similar treat cards for all my co-workers at work. I made 14 in total. I wanted something simple and that would not break my heart when I saw them tear the card apart to get to the candy. As I don't eat chocolate I used skittles for the candy. I think most enjoyed these treats.

Supplies Used:
(All Stampin' Up!)
Stamp Sets: Sweet Treats, Christmas Blessing
Ink: Real Red, Chocolate Chip, Garden Green
Cardstock: Real Red, Chocolate Chip, Garden Green, Whisper White
Accessories: Sweet Treat Cups, Glue Dots, 1 3/4 Circle Punch

Still Christmas ?

I never did finish showing you all the Christmas cards I made for this past Christmas, so I am going to show you these cards over the next few days. This is the same layout I used for one of the cards at the Christmas Stamp-A-Stack. I changed up the colours and added a little bit more technique. I used the colour spritzer with the Chocolate Chip marker to create the speckled background. I really like the way this card turned out.

Supplies Used:
(All Stampin' Up!)
Stamp Sets: Tree Trimmings, Four the Holidays
Ink: Real Red, Chocolate Chip
Cardstock: Kraft, Chocolate Chip, Whisper White
Accessories: Colour Spritzer, Sponge, Chocolate Chip Wide Grosgrain Ribbon

Hubby's Valentine's Card

My husband and I don't really go all out for Valentine's Day. This year we spend the day at the in-law's celebrating my father-in-law's birthday. Once we got home the rest of the day was spent doing laundry and grocery shopping. However we did exchange cards and my husband bought me some roses. This is the card that I gave to Andrew. This is a remake of a card I showed you earlier. This time I used Chocolate Chip Prints Designer Paper for the base, changed the colours of the hearts, and added a button. The saying is a rub-on from Chit Chat.

Supplies Used:
(All Stampin' Up!)
Stamp Sets: I {Heart} Hearts
Ink: Rose Red, Certainly Celery, So Saffron, Ballet Blue
Cardstock: Chocolate Chip, Kraft, Whisper White, Rose Red
Accessories: Chit Chat Rub-on, Scallop Edge Punch, White Gel Pen, Paper Piercer, Mat Pack, Rose Red Button, Linen Thread, Stampin' Dimensionals

Productive Weekend

I had a very productive weekend stamping. I can't show you a lot of what I created this weekend because it is for upcoming classes and events but I promise you will see them over the next little while. However I do have cards to share with you in the meantime. This is a card that I made for a friend's birthday back in December. I cased the layout of this card from Petal Pusher over at SCS. I changed up the colours and stamp set used. To create the circles I used the Circle Scissor Plus, the sayings are actually three separate stamps from the set 'A Little Birthday Cheer'.

Supplies Used:
(All Stampin' Up!)
Stamp Sets: A Little Birthday Cheer
Ink: Bermuda Bay, Rose Red, Close to Cocoa
Cardstock: Bermuda Bay, Close to Cocoa, Whisper White, Thoroughly Modern DSP
Accessories: Silver Brads, Small Star Punch, Large Star Punch, Paper Piercer, Circle Scissors Plus

Happy Birthday Dad

Today is my Father-in-Law's birthday. This is the card I decided to make him. I am loving the easel cards, they are actually really easy to make and so impressive looking. My father-in-law loves to bake and makes really good apple pie and apple crisp so I thought this apple image from the For Father set was the perfect one to use for his card. I actually used some of my retired items for this card, both the stamp set and the Designer Paper is retired. Hope you like the card.

Supplies Used:
(All Stampin' Up!)
Stamp Sets: For Father, A Little Birthday Cheer
Ink: Black Staz On
Cardstock: Not Quite Navy, Very Vanilla, Old Olive, Watercolour Paper, Retired DSP
Accessories: Watercolour Crayons, Aqua Painter, Stampin' Dimensionals

Thinking of you Christine

My best friend's sister passed away suddenly yesterday afternoon. So I had to make a card for her as soon as I found out. I used one of my all time favourite sets, Fifth Avenue Floral, with one of my favourite techniques, masking. I love the way this card turned out. The next few while is going to be very difficult for Christine, I hope this card will put a smile on her face.

(All Stampin' Up!)
Stamp Sets: Fifth Avenue Floral, Teeny Tiny Wishes
Ink: Rich Razzleberry, Pale Plum, White Craft
Cardstock: Rich Razzleberry, Pale Plum, Whisper White
